Why I built this

I publish plugins on WordPress.org myself. The code was always the smaller problem — the screenshots cost me hours and still looked like bug reports. So I checked what everyone else is doing first: I pulled screenshot data for 3,445 plugins through the official WordPress.org API.

Pulled from the WordPress.org plugin API on 30 July 2026. This is correlation, not cause: big plugins have more screenshots, but they also have more time, money and often a team. The numbers show what the directory looks like — not that more screenshots produce more installs.

What the tool does

Built for WordPress.org listings — not another generic image editor.

1

Beautify screenshots

Raw wp-admin captures get centered, framed and given a soft shadow. Your interface is never repainted — only what surrounds it is added.

2

Detect features

The AI reads each screen, finds buttons and settings, and names them the way customers understand. “Enable” becomes “One-click activation”.

3

Place annotations

Arrows, circles and labels land on the right spots automatically — and stay fully editable afterwards.

4

Write the copy

Tagline, WordPress.org description, Product Hunt and social posts — in six languages. The captions come with it.

5

Check quality

Blurry captures, cropped UI, tiny type or weak contrast get flagged before the image reaches the directory.

6

Export ready

One ZIP at the exact sizes for WordPress.org, your site, Product Hunt, GitHub and docs — plus all copy as Markdown and the readme section.

Frequently asked

Does the AI change my screenshots?

No. The image pipeline is deterministic — your pixels are never repainted or invented. Only background, spacing, frame, shadow and an annotation layer are added on top. The marketing image is provably your real product.

What happens to my uploads?

Screenshots are stored privately on a server in Germany and sent to Anthropic’s Claude API (USA) for analysis. Details are in the privacy policy. Projects can be deleted completely at any time.

Does it only work for WordPress plugins?

It is built for WordPress.org listings — the export presets and the readme template are tailored to that. The image processing itself works with any software screenshot.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions run through Stripe and can be cancelled in one click from the billing page.
